FACCI's Network Powers Teréga Solutions' Australian Expansion

Emilie Bouquier of Teréga Solutions discusses the pivotal role of FACCI’s network played in their expansion into the Australian market.

Drawing on its parent company's more than 75 years of experience in the transport and storage of natural gas, Teréga Solutions has recently expanded its innovative digital solutions to Western Australia.

In this interview, Emilie Bouquier, Director of the Multi-Energies and Digital Business Unit at Teréga Solutions, discusses how FACCI helped them gauge local market interest by facilitating meetings with key stakeholders from their network during the market research phase. Now established in Australia, Teréga Solutions has become an active FACCI Patron member.

Why and how did you contact FACCI? How did it meet your needs?

To market and deploy my digital solutions, I work as an editor with integrator partners. During a business review with my main partner AKKODIS, they highlighted the dynamic potential of the Australian market for my solutions, which we had been focusing mainly on in Europe.

I wanted to assess the potential firsthand and build relationships with local structures of my partners, so I embarked on a nearly 4-month mission in Australia, from Sydney to Perth. To maximize my efforts, I sought additional resources to create connections with potential prospects. An old school friend in Perth recommended FACCI as a dynamic resource. FACCI has indeed provided significant support, connecting me with highly qualified prospects and briefing me on local collaborative practices compared to Europe.

How has your experience been so far?

It's been excellent, especially with the team in Perth, whose President understands our value proposition well due to his professional background. We are keen to continue this collaboration and are investing further with the arrival of another employee, Alexia Edde, in early July.

What are your expectations moving forward with FACCI and how can we support you?

We aim to turn the initial opportunities into concrete deployments, showcasing our solutions' high performance and security for the industry. These solutions were created to meet industrial data management needs and advance uses like AI. We need to continue engaging the market to demonstrate our capabilities.

Why has Teréga Solutions chosen to develop its business in a foreign country?

Our solutions address global needs: enhanced performance, intelligence through data, and meeting digital challenges such as cost efficiency, improved collaboration, energy transition, and cyber risk. Our solutions provide real-time machine data expertise, enabling value creation by leveraging employee intelligence. We focus on mature, dynamic markets, and we believe Australia has significant potential.
