Signing of the conventions between IFCCI & CCIP and IFCCI & UbiFrance
During the Indo-French Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IFCCI) 34th Annual General Meeting, two conventions were signed in the presence of the Consul General of France in Mumbai, Mr. Jean-Raphaël Peytregnet.
During the Indo-French Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IFCCI) 34th Annual General Meeting, two conventions were signed in the presence of the Consul General of France in Mumbai, Mr. Jean-Raphaël Peytregnet.
A first convention was signed between the Chamber and the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIP), in presence of Mr. Pierre-Antoine Gailly, President, Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIP) and President, Union of the French Chambers of Commerce and Industry Abroad (UCCIFE). This agreement aims at formalizing the deeper collaboration between the two organizations by 1st January 2012, IFCCI integrating a CCIP India desk under its umbrella.
The second convention between IFCCI and UbiFrance in India, was signed by Mr. Alain Cousin, Member of the National Assembly, representing the Manche Department and President of UbiFrance and Mr. Patrick Manon, Director, UbiFrance India, as well as Mr. Pierre-Antoine Gailly as President of the Union of French Chambers abroad and Mr. Jacques Michel as President, IFCCI. This agreement will ensure that the two organizations work closely together in order to promote trade between India and France.
The Indo-French Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IFCCI), established in 1977, is a leading bi-lateral business chamber with over 450 active members today comprising Indian and French companies across sectors. With growing relations between India and France at both economic and political levels, IFCCI is poised to play an even more important and influential role in the coming years.
